The BT device will turn off the Private mode when the mobile phone in which the Mobile App is installed goes into sleep mode. The BT device will announce “Private mode off.” Note that the mobile phone will NOT automatically go into sleep mode when the Mobile App & the BuddyTalk device is in the Private mode.  The user will need to turn the mobile phone into sleep mode manually when the system is in the Private mode.

How to switch the BuddyTalk device between Private mode and Speakerphone mode

By tapping the Private Mode icon on the Mobile App, the user can switch the BT110 to the Private mode where the audio input/output switches from the BT device’s speaker/mic to the user’s mobile phone speaker/mic.  The BT110 device will announce “Private mode On.”, and the Flash LED will be blinking Blue entering the Mobile App Private mode.

The user can turn off the Private mode by tapping the green Private Mode icon on the Mobile App or tapping the Flash button (whose LED is blinking blue) on the BT110 Touch Panel. The BT110 device will announce “Private mode Off” and the Flash LED goes off.
