In general, the BuddyTalk BT110 supports the following set-based call features Note 1

  • Call hold
  • Call waiting
  • Blind and Consulted Call Transfer
  • Three-Way Calling

First thing you can do is to log in to the BT110 web GUI to check if the 3-way calling set-based call feature is enabled.

If you have the 3-way calling call feature enabled, and can call another number to make a 3-way call for inbound calls but cannot make a 3-way call for outbound calls, then, it is possible that your VoIP phone account has a default setting of only allowing one outbound call at a time.  You may contact your VoIP service provider to change the default setting to allow 2 outbound calls to form 3-way calls.

If you are using a Callcentric PROMO SIP/Telephony account, the default may be set to allow one outbound call only.  You may want to visit My Callcentric Account Portal to enable multiple simultaneous outbound calls:

Note 1: The BT110 set-based call features are enabled in software version v1.0.7.7 and above.
