In general, the BuddyTalk BT110 supports the following set-based call features Note 1

  • Call hold
  • Call waiting
  • Blind and Consulted Call Transfer
  • Three-Way Calling

When Callcentric is your VoIP service provider, the call transfer features are provided through a server IVR-based mechanism.  Consequently, the set-based Call Transfer features are (and need to be) disabled on the BT110 device.  The other set-based call features, namely call hold, call waiting, and three-way calling, are still enabled and available for use.

The default configurations of BT110 devices purchased with Callcentric promo codes are set accordingly (i.e., call hold, call waiting, and three-way calling are enabled, both blind and consulted call transfers are disabled).  If and when you change to different VoIP service providers, you may change these default set-based call feature settings via the BT110 device web GUI.

Note 1: The BT110 set-based call features are enabled in software version v1.0.7.7 and above.
