What is the Private mode?

The BuddyTalk products allow the following three ways to conduct phone calls:

      

  1. Speakerphone hands-free mode: it uses the BuddyTalk device’s speaker and microphone.
  2. Private mode using the user’s smartphone running the BuddyTalk Mobile App in the Private mode. It uses the smartphone’s speaker and microphone. The Private mode can be turned on by tapping the Private mode icon on the bottom right corner of the Mobile App screens. Once tapped, the icon changes its color to green . 

  1. RJ11 POTS mode.  It uses the phone that is plugged into the BuddyTalk device’s RJ11 port.
