If you are using it behind a NAT firewall with multiple PCs behind it, note that only ONE BuddyTalk may be in a phone call at any given time whether PC-to-Phone or PC-to-PC is being used. *Note* Due to the overwhelming number of firewall vendors in the market, InnoMedia will not be able to give detailed instructions on configuring your firewall. Please consult with your firewall documentation or contact technical support for your firewall if you are unsure how to perform the necessary adjustments. 1. Your firewall must support port mapping or forwarding. 2. Configure your router to map the following ports to the PC that is using Buddy Talk: UDP Port 8481 UDP Port 8995 3. You are ready to make and/or receive calls thru your firewall. * Please use caution when opening ports on your firewall. Opening ports on your firewall exposes your computer(s) to potential security loopholes. Although we have provided this documentation, InnoMedia takes no responsibility for any damage incurred due to hacker penetration of your firewall. ------------------------------------------------------------ Known Issues ------------------------------------------------------------ The following are known issues present in BuddyTalk, and will be addressed in future updates to the software: There are currently no known issues affecting BuddyTalk For the latest information about BuddyTalk, go to InnoMedia's website at http://www.innomedia.com ------------------------------------------------------------ How to contact InnoMedia and InnoMedia Technical Support ------------------------------------------------------------ You can find our general support and FAQs on the world wide web.
